The San Francisco 49ers returned to the field on Thursday following a scheduled off-day, resuming their second week of training camp with Day 7 of open practices. The break came after a competitive Tuesday session (Day 6) and was a part of a busy 72 hours filled with roster moves, injury updates, and continued evaluation across key position battles.
On Tuesday, the team signed defensive lineman Jaylon Allen to a one-year deal. To make room on the roster, the 49ers placed DL Tarron Jackson on the Injured Reserve list. Thursday brought additional transactions, including the signings of RB Ameer Abdullah, QB Carter Bradley, WR Marquez Callaway and WR Andy Isabella.
