Another day, another Birmingham Stallions player is headed to the NFL. DE Bradlee Anae is signing with the San Francisco 49ers, following a strong UFL campaign with the Stallions in 2025.
Anae was an offseason signing by former GM Zach Potter, and immediately made an impact up front for Birmingham. With the Stallions having lost Dondrea Tillman and Jonathan Garvin to the NFL, Anae came in with his NFL experience – and dominated.
Bradlee posted 17 tackles, six TFL’s, five sacks, and 33 quarterback pressures (top 5) during his time in Birmingham this season. He had an outstanding 87.9 Pass Rush Grade via PFF, with 10 Defensive Stops to his name.
Anae missed the final two games of the regular season due to injury; but returned for their playoff loss to Michigan – starting every matchup he was active for.
Bradlee Anae has plenty of NFL experience already. He was selected by the Cowboys in the 2020 NFL draft, and has since had stints with the Falcons and Jets.

Anae is the seventh Stallion to sign an NFL contract this offseason. The 49ers have been keen on signing UFL edge rushers; bringing in Memphis Showboats EDGE Jaylon Allen. Last year, they also signed former Stallions DE Jonathan Garvin – who remains on the 49ers roster currently.
