Gesa Field to Get Loud This Season

PULLMAN, Wash. – With the Washington State Football team ready to begin its 2025 season this Saturday against Idaho, there will be tremendous excitement and energy inside Gesa Field. As in past years, Cougar Athletics will once again use proximity fireworks and percussion rounds to amplify that energy and provide the Cougars with a great homefield advantage.

Fans can expect to see proximity fireworks as the Cougs run onto Gesa Field just prior to the game. After WSU touchdowns and field goals, percussion rounds will also be released.

Scheduled fireworks and percussion rounds are scheduled for all home football games this season, with the potential for other Cougar sporting events to include fireworks. A separate notification would be sent out listing those dates/times in advance.

The 2025 football schedule with fireworks/percussion rounds include:
Aug. 30         vs. Idaho                         7 p.m.
Sept. 6          vs. San Diego State       7:15 p.m.
Sept. 20        vs. Washington              4:30/5 p.m.
