Game-by-game predictions for Commanders in 2022

Can the Washington Commanders make a big leap in Ron Rivera’s third season as head coach?

The 2022 NFL schedule was released last week, and while it isn’t as brutal as the 2021 version, there are some difficult stretches for the Commanders as they look to return to the playoffs in 2022.

Fans are always optimistic when the new schedule is released. Sure, Washington fans are more cynical than most — and for good reason — but there’s hope for a strong season from the Commanders.

Prediction: Commanders win (1-0)

Prediction: Commanders win (2-0)

Week 3: vs. Philadelphia Eagles

Washington can’t rely too heavily on the running game as Wentz must make plays for the Commanders to pick up a critical NFC East win. Wentz will be outstanding against his former team.
