The UFL to NFL signings are picking back up. DT Kyon Barrs, who played with the Arlington Renegades this past season, has signed with the Arizona Cardinals following a successful workout on Saturday.
Kyon Barrs joined Arlington as an offseason addition, and proved to be a key piece to a Renegades defense that played some really good football in 2025.
Barrs started in all 10 games, and was utilized in a heavy rotation with other pieces such as LaRon Stokes, Daviyon Nixon, Amani Bledsoe, and others. He totaled 23 tackles, a TFL, and a sack during his time in the UFL this season.
Kyon was a strong run defender for Arlington, with a 75.9 Rush Defense Grade, via PFF. He had six QB pressures and six Defensive Stops on 221 total snaps.
Barrs played his college ball at USC and Arizona, racking up over 70 tackles and several sacks throughout his career. This led to an NFL opportunity with the Seahawks last preseason.
Now, the 23 year old product will have another crack at the NFL – this time with the Arizona Cardinals. Had it not been for the national platform that the UFL provided him with, who knows if this would’ve been possible.
Barrs is the 4th Renegade to sign an NFL contract this offseason. You can stay up to date on all UFL to NFL signings with our official tracker.
