Texas A&M is no stranger to having players selected highly in the NFL draft. Year after year players such as Von Miller (2011: Round 1, Pick 2), Ryan Tannehill (2012: Round 1, Pick 8), Luke Joeckel (2013: Round 1, Pick 2), Mike Evans (2014: Round 1, Pick 7), Myles Garrett (2017: Round 1, Pick 1), and this year’s top selection, Kenyon Green (2022: Round 1, Pick 15).
In the 2022 NFL draft, 4 Aggies including Green were drafted, while 6 others found opportunities as undrafted free agents with each having a very realistic opportunity to make their respective teams.
In addition, Jimbo Fisher has brought in three consecutive top 10 recruiting classes culminating in the No. 1 overall class in 2022, each made up of some of the most talented young players at their positions, and all having the chance through their continued development to take the next step towards reaching that NFL dream.
For the 2023 NFL draft, the current A&M roster is chock-full of next-level talent, and after looking at the entire roster, here are some players that could be on pro scouts’ radars for next year’s draft.
