Though we are deep in the offseason for college football, news about Dan Lanning and the Ducks is as prevalent as ever at the moment. The Ducks had a couple of monster recruiting weekends, and we’ve seen a couple of commitments and predictions come out of it, with likely a lot more on the way.
One of those potential commitments could come from 4-star DL Kelze Howard, who is ranked by 247Sports as the No. 19 DL and No. 163 overall player in the 2023 class. Howard came on an official visit to Oregon and listed the Ducks in his final six schools ahead of his final decision.
Despite that, there is a feeling that Howard might now choose the Ducks, and could go up north to Corvallis and join the Oregon State Beavers instead. Currently, the 4-star DL has two Crystal Ball Predictions on 247Sports to commit to Oregon State.
Where Howard will land is still up for debate, but we will know by Friday evening, with his commitment coming at 2 p.m. PT.
