The beginning of a new era for the Minnesota Vikings kick-starts next week with the start of training camp.
All of the talk of a win-now season starts on the practice field with first-year head coach Kevin O’Connell and the Vikings making their final preparations heading into the 2022 season.
The offensive unit, which landed at No. 4 in ESPN’s best playmakers rankings, is returning nearly everyone from last season.
And the defensive unit has made some notable additions, including two-time Pro Bowl outside linebacker Za’Darius Smith and first-round rookie draft pick Lewis Cine at safety. If all goes according to plan, this might not be the same pushover Vikings team you remember from last season.
Keep in mind, the team recently waived backup quarterback Nate Stanley, which has left one open spot on the roster. But as it currently stands, here is the team’s 90-day roster heading into training camp.
