Updated look at Bears offensive line depth after Riley Reiff signing

Updated Bears offensive line depth after Dakota Dozier lands on IR

The Bears addressed a huge need at left tackle with the signing of veteran Riley Reiff, who’s signing a one-year deal worth up to $12.5 million, per ESPN’s Adam Schefter.

The move comes just one day after the team addressed a huge hole at right guard with the addition of Michael Schofield. Reiff has been solid at left tackle over the last decade, and he brings stability and experience to an offensive line looking to keep Justin Fields upright. Patrick revealed that he was brought in to serve as the center, which gives Justin Fields someone with experience snapping him the ball.

The Bears signed veteran Michael Schofield to a one-year deal ahead of training camp, where he projects to fill a huge hold within the interior. Schofield has started 81 regular season games during his seven-year career, where he’s seen time at multiple positions along the offensive line.
