Injury Report: Week 3 Vs. Rams

FRIDAY REPORT

Running back James Conner will be a game-day decision, coach Kliff Kingsbury said on Friday as the Cardinals prepare to play the Rams at State Farm Stadium on Sunday. Conner has been dealing with an ankle injury.

Wide receiver Rondale Moore (hamstring) and linebacker Ezekiel Turner (ankle) are out for the game.

“I am hoping that within the next two weeks (Moore) will play,” Kingsbury said. “If not next week (in Carolina), then I guarantee the game after (home against the Eagles.)”

Kingsbury was asked if there had been consideration given to putting Moore on IR from the outset if he was going to miss four games.

“We thought, depending how it went, he had a chance to get back,” KIngsbury said. “He’s a guy who is going to have a very significant role in this offense and if we could beat that by a game, we wanted to take that chance.”

The rest of the roster should be ready to play, Kingsbury said. That includes cornerback Trayvon Mullen (toe), who is expected to be active for the first time this season. Kingsbury said Mullen’s snaps will be determined based on how he has absorbed the defensive playbook, but “physically he should be ready to go.”
