Anthony Schwartz hits IR, paving the way for Jaelon Darden

After adding former Tampa Bay Buccaneers’ wide receiver Jaelon Darden off of the waiver wire, the Cleveland Browns have now cleared him a roster spot. After suffering a concussion against the Houston Texans, wide receiver Anthony Schwartz has been placed on Injured Reserve.

With both Schwartz and Demetric Felton both active against the Texans, one has to wonder if there is a pathway to Darden seeing the field as early as this weekend against the Cincinnati Bengals.

Schwartz will be eligible to play the final week of the season and into the postseason should the Browns continue to stack wins down the stretch.
