For the second time in 24 hours, the Nebraska Cornhuskers have added a class of 2025 wide receiver. Bryson Hayes is a three-star prospect out of Maize High School in Maize, Kansas.
Hayes told 247Sports that he believes great things are on the horizon for Nebraska football.
“Coach Rhule and all of them have been on me from the start when the offered me at camp last summer. Nebraska is a sleeping giant that’s about to wake up,”
Hayes chose the Huskers over Kansas and Kansas State. In 2023, he had 60 receptions for 962 receiving yards and ten touchdowns.
Hayes earned a scholarship from Nebraska after the coaching staff witnessed the receiver record a 40-yard dash time of 4.34 seconds.
He becomes the fifth commitment to the class of 2025, joining Tyson Terry, Caden VerMaas, and Conor Booth. The final recruit is wide receiver Jackson Carpenter, who announced his commitment to the Cornhuskers on Saturday.
