ACC Football win-loss record for every team with ESPN’s FPI

Ranking UNC’s 2024 games from toughest to easiest

The 2024 college football season is still a few months away but already the predictions are starting to flow in. That includes rankings for conferences as ESPN has released its first batch of Football Power Index rankings.

The metric is a measure of team strength that is meant to be the best predictor of a team’s performance going forward for the rest of the season.

For the 2024 season, ESPN has predicted the records of each ACC program using the FPI giving team’s a number of wins and losses on average. With the ACC taking in three new teams as Stanford, Cal, and SMU join this year, it is shaping up to be another exciting season.

So what does the FPI think will happen? Let’s take a look at the projected rankings for the Summer which will change as the season goes on.

Florida State Seminoles

ESPN Record Projection: 8.8-3.6

After missing out on the College Football Playoff, the defending ACC champions are predicted to win the conference again.

Clemson Tigers

ESPN Record Projection: 8.5-3.8

Clemson hit some road bumps last season but regroups hoping to make a run at the conference title.
