Patrick Mahomes Named “Best Male Athlete” and “Best NFL Player” at the ESPYs

The 28-year-old Mahomes threw for 4,183 yards and 27 touchdowns in 16 regular-season games last year before assembling another unforgettable playoff run. In fact, Mahomes’ 15 career postseason wins now trail only Tom Brady (35) and Joe Montana (16) among starting quarterbacks in NFL history.

Mahomes also owns the league marks for touchdown passes (219) and passing yards (28,424) through 100 career regular-season games in NFL history, and he did so despite only starting 96 games so far in his career.
