The Kansas City Chiefs are set to embark on their 2024 season and as players and coaches make their way to Missouri Western State University for training camp, the hype around the team is at an all-time high.
Though the Chiefs currently have 90 players on their offseason roster, Andy Reid and his coaching staff will have to cut nearly 40 players to get under the 53-man limit after Kansas City’s three-game preseason schedule.
Players like Patrick Mahomes, Travis Kelce, Chris Jones, and Trent McDuffie won’t have to worry about losing their places on the Chiefs’ depth chart, but with competition expected to be fierce for the second and third-string spots, lesser-known contributors will have to fight for playing time at training camp.
