The Los Angeles Rams progressed into the next step of training camp Monday when they held their first padded practice at Loyola Marymount. Matthew Stafford got the day off, his first and only of camp, but Jimmy Garoppolo and Stetson Bennett stepped up in his place and led the offense.
Overall, it was a better day from the defense, with Sean McVay sharing praise for the players on that side of the ball.
