The quarterback situation remains fluid in Minnesota, but Atlanta has a new quarterback that the Madden developers are fond of. The quarterback in Atlanta is one that Vikings fans know, and that would be Kirk Cousins.
With the newest version of the Madden video game coming out this month, they have been dropping ratings of their top ten by position. Much to the dismay of Vikings fans, rookie J.J. McCarthy earned a 71 rating, and Sam Darnold earned a 70.
Meanwhile, the former Vikings quarterback has an overall rating of 84, which is good enough for him to be ranked tenth in the game at his position.
The ratings in Madden are updated weekly based on players’ performances, so these could go up or down. For now, though, one team is restarting at the position in Madden while the other is ready for an explosive season with a high-powered offense.
Time will tell, but for now, Madden thinks the Vikings losing Kirk Cousins is a bad thing.
