Former Oregon Ducks QB Bo Nix takes NFL world by storm in preseason

Oregon Duck fans had a good idea of what quarterback Bo Nix was capable of after his two years in Eugene, so it’s not very surprising to see that it took only two preseason games with the Denver Broncos for NFL fans to realize that this kid might have what it takes to be special.

On Sunday night in his second preseason game, the former Heisman Trophy finalist dazzled once again, completing 8-of-9 passes for 80 yards and a touchdown, putting points on the board in both of his drives on the field. Throughout all of his preseason action, Nix is now 23-for-30 for 205 yards, 2 TDs, and zero INTs.

The Broncos have not yet officially named a starting quarterback, so for the time being, Nix is still competing with both Zach Wilson and Jarrett Stidham for the QB1 spot in Denver, but after watching the rookie perform on Sunday night, a large majority of spectators are convinced that not only will Nix be the guy, but he has a chance to be pretty special as well.

Here’s a look at some of the best reactions we’ve seen from NFL analysts and fans on social media when it comes to Bo Nix:

Robert Griffin III

Bill Belichick
