Wisconsin suffered a 42-10 blowout loss to No. 4 Alabama on Saturday.
The Badgers hung tough with the top-ranked Crimson Tide up until the minutes approaching halftime. A Nathanial Vakos field goal attempt to cut Wisconsin’s deficit to eight points sailed wide right. Alabama took that opportunity and went on a two-play touchdown drive to instead enter the halftime break leading 21-3. That three-play sequence proved to be the game’s deciding moment.
