DT Kobe Smith | St. Louis Battlehawks
Kobe Smith officially returns to the St. Louis Battlehawks, after spending the past UFL season with the unit. Kobe has been in the spring scene for a couple of years now. He was with the San Antonio Brahmas in 2023, totaling seven tackles and 0.5 sacks that season.
This led to an NFL stint for Kobe, with the New York Giants. After his release from the Giants, Smith proceeded to sign with the St. Louis Battlehawks – and proved to be a key piece for a defensive line that dealt with injuries.
The @XFLBattlehawks could have eased on the gas pedal on their 4th down stand. Instead Kobe Smith and Mike Rose continued to bring the energy and held the line giving St. Louis the ball back.

Smith posted 20 tackles, starting in seven of nine games played with St. Louis this year. He was a factor in their run defense, with a strong 76.9 rush defense grade via PFF. Bringing Smith back to Donnie Abraham’s squad makes quite a bit of sense, and is another good move from General Manager Dave Boller.
S Qwuantrezz Knight | Birmingham Stallions
The Birmingham Stallions are always adding NFL caliber talent to their roster. It’s just what General Manager Zach Potter does. In his latest signing, the Stallions have brought in safety Qwuantrezz Knight – a young defensive player with plenty of potential at this level.
Knight has a storied career, with a few different stops in college. He started out at Maryland, compiling 45 tackles across three seasons. Quantrezz transferred to Kent State in…
