  • Quarterback Derek Carr (groin) practiced fully all week and is expected to start.
  • Tight end Taysom Hill (chest) practiced fully all week and is expected to play after missing last week’s game.
  • Linebacker D’Marco Jackson (calf) was limited on Wednesday and Thursday, but practiced fully Friday and is expected to play.
  • Defensive tackle Khalen Saunders (calf) was also limited for the first two days of practice, but he upgraded to full reps on Friday and is expected to make his season debut.
  • OL Landon Young (foot) was limited to start the week. He practiced fully on Thursday and Friday and could get into the starting lineup given all of the injuries at guard and center.
  • CB Alontae Taylor (illness) sat out the week’s first practice but worked without limitations after that. We’ll see how often he plays if the Saints run more base defense than nickel against the Falcons.

Two Falcons players are expected to play after popping up on the injury report this week: linebacker Matthew Judon (hamstring) and running back Bijan Robinson (shoulder). Veteran defensive linemen David Onyemata, Grady Jarrett, and Ta’Quon Graham were all given rest days or partial reps on Friday.
