The Birmingham Stallions have broken their radio silence in UFL free agency. This week, they’ve re-signed four players, including QB Andrew Peasley, for the 2026 season.
QB Andrew Peasley
Andrew Peasley makes his way back to Birmingham as someone who showed quite a bit of promise during his two outings in 2025. Peasley was signed by the Stallions early on in the year, when Alex McGough went down with an injury. He eventually worked his way into a QB2 role; seeing action in week six and week 10.
Peasley threw for 172 yards across that span, showcasing his arm strength and also some mobility (33 yards on four scrambles).
Andrew began his college career at Utah State, but was primarily a backup during his time there. He threw for a little over 800 yards and seven touchdowns across four years, seeing the most action in 2020 when he made two starts in five appearances.
Peasley then transferred to Wyoming, which proved to be the right move. He was immediately named as the team’s starter, and held that role for two seasons. Across that span, Andrew threw for over 3,600 yards and 30 touchdowns, to 14 interceptions. His senior season in particular was impressive, tossing 20 TD’s to five picks. Andrew’s also got some mobility to his game, rushing for 1,259 yards and 12 scores in his collegiate career.
