2 more colleges are now in the mix for Arch Manning

Rumors have started that star high school quarterback Arch Manning has narrowed his college decision down to a pair of schools, but his father, Cooper, told Steve Wiltfong of 247Sports last week that such reports are false.

In fact, Arch’s list of potential schools is growing, not shrinking.

In addition to Texas, Georgia, Alabama and Ole Miss (Clemson is out), Arch is now also considering Florida and LSU, according to 247Sports.

It seems that the quarterback is not on the verge of committing to any program, contrary to recent speculation.

Arch, the grandson of Archie and nephew of Peyton and Eli, plays for Isidore Newman in New Orleans. He scored 34 touchdowns (26 through the air and eight on the ground) as a junior last season.

The young QB has totaled more than 6,700 yards from scrimmage and has scored 101 touchdowns through three seasons of HS football.
