Aggies offer 2023 4-Star Defensive end

Where did the A&M staff visit this week?

Texas A&M has made its presence known as a leader on the recruiting trail since Jimbo Fisher signed his 10-year deal to become the head coach 4 years ago. In that time, the Aggies have become a national brand, expanding their  recruiting reach coast to coast, covering a bulk of the country when searching for talent, yielding success along the way.

A recent example is that of 2023 4-Star Adepoju Adebawore, the 6’4″, 240lb Defensive end from North Kansas City High School in Kansas City, Missouri. The Aggies offered the talented edge rusher on May 2nd, looking to continue bulking up their defensive line depth year to year to help prepare for any potential departures in the near future due to the draft or the transfer portal.

Adebawore’s athletic background is extensive, competing In both track and powerlifting as well as football while being recognized as a member of the “Missouri Football Coaches Association Class 5 first-team all-state selection at defensive end” during his junior season, in which he produced 17.5 sacks on the year, which led to programs starting to take notice of the budding star defender. Even though the Aggies are not seen as his “top choice” at the moment, never count out Jimbo Fisher and his staff to be in the running at the very end.
