RB Sony Michel visits with Dolphins

The Miami Dolphins have upgraded their running back room this offseason, bringing in Raheem Mostert and Chase Edmonds to replace Malcolm Brown, Duke Johnson and Phillip Lindsay.

However, the Dolphins appear to be interested in adding more veteran help. According to ESPN’s Jeremy Fowler, Miami brought in former Los Angeles Rams and New England Patriots running back Sony Michel for a visit on Wednesday.

Last preseason, Michel was traded from New England to Los Angeles in exchange for a 2022 sixth-round pick and 2023 fourth-round pick. Then, with his new team, he totaled 845 yards and four touchdowns on 4.1 yards per attempt, as he contributed to the Rams’ efforts that eventually ended in a Super Bowl victory, the second of the running back’s career.

Michel could provide Miami with the between-the-tackles runner that they currently appear to lack.
