After a less than spectacular showing in the Blue-White Game, Penn State freshman Drew Allar is looking to learn from the experience.
It isn’t uncommon for a freshman quarterback to struggle during the spring. The speed of the game and the environment always takes some getting used to and to be honest, it shouldn’t cool expectations. Allar wasn’t brought in for this season, despite fans and media hoping so, it is about the long-term play for him. There will be plenty of shortcomings, thus is the game, but stay the course and the results will come.
For this season though it is also important to see Allar grow as the year progresses. The Blue-White Game was the starting point of a marathon of a season and career at Penn State. For now, time to see him in his Nittany Lion uniform from the Spring before we see him this fall.
