Cincinnati Bengals’ biggest salary-cap hits entering 2022 season

Part of the strong turnaround for the Cincinnati Bengals was a shrewd ability to navigate the salary cap.

As of this writing, the team has roughly $15 million in free cap space and some of their most expensive players are very young, core pieces. They’re in a spot to focus on long-term extensions with guys like Joe Burrow right after the upcoming season.

Granted, we’ve argued the Bengals should be active in free agency at defensive tackle, especially with names like Larry Ogunjobi out there.

But as things stand right now, that’s the cap number ahead of training camp and these are the biggest cap hits.
