On Friday, the Tigers extended an offer to 2024 quarterback Adrian Posse. After a good showing at the Auburn football camp on Friday afternoon, he became the seventh quarterback that the coaching staff has offered in the 2024 recruiting cycle.
Posse is regarded as a three-star according to 247Sports’ recruiting rankings, listed at 6-foot-4 and 205 pounds. Auburn isn’t the only team that has noticed his talents. Other programs like Arkansas, Georgia, Florida, LSU, and Ohio State have all offered the Florida native.
As a sophomore at Monsignor Pace High School, he appeared in six games. Although he hasn’t really started in his high school career thus far, he will now be given that opportunity as he is transferring to Columbus High School. The product of Miami, Florida, will likely garner more interest from other programs as his junior season begins with the Explorers.
It is unclear as to who the Tigers will have at quarterback in 2024. However, it is always beneficial to add as many quarterbacks as possible, especially in the SEC. We will have to wait and see how Posse’s recruitment unfolds over the next two years.
