Top-10 single-season tackle leaders in Kansas City Chiefs’ history

From linebackers like Derrick Johnson to Willie Lanier, the Kansas City Chiefs have seen some of the best players at the position in league history pass through the hallowed halls of Arrowhead Stadium over the course of the team’s time in the NFL. The most elementary part of defense in the game of football is tackling, and the team has always had at least one big-hitting sure-tackler on their roster that would make ball carriers pay for attempting to advance field position against them.

Without the ability to wrangle players to the ground, defense is hopeless, especially against the modern NFL’s fast-paced score-at-will offenses. These players put together the most outstanding seasons in Chiefs history with record-breaking performances that left fans in awe.
