The Cincinnati Bengals have no intention of rushing Joe Burrow back after his appendectomy, as expected.
Bengals head coach Zac Taylor met with the media on Wednesday as training camp started and revealed that Burrow had a successful procedure the day prior.
News of Burrow’s surprise surgery popped up yesterday after the quarterback had been feeling under the weather and eventually wound up with the diagnosis.

ESPN’s Ben Baby captured another important point:
Considering Burrow hardly suited up for preseason games last year, returned early from a knee injury and had that amazing year, it’s no shock the team wasn’t going to risk him much during exhibitions anyway.
