Auburn gives first official offer for 2023 class

The Auburn Tigers gave out their first official offer on Monday, and it’s fitting that it went to their first recruit of the 2023 class.

Offensive lineman Bradyn Joiner, who committed to the Tigers on the first day of the year in 2022, received his official offer from Auburn on Monday according to his Twitter account. The Tigers first gave their verbal offer to Joiner on Oct. 30 of 2021, but the team made it official on Monday.

Teams can only bring in 25 new scholarship players at a time, and thus offers made to recruits are not “official” until the official offering day for college football. That day is Aug. 1, and as such, expect coach Bryan Harsin and his staff to be handing out their official offers to the 2023 Tigers recruiting class.

It is likely that Joiner will sign his LOI (letter of intent) in December after receiving this official offer, should he remain committed to play for the Tigers. Auburn is sure to hand out other official offers throughout the day, but Joiner has the distinction of being the very first for this Tigers 2023 class.
