This isn’t the first time these two worked together, either. Bausby was a standout cornerback for Riley during the AAF’s 2019 season, where both were a part of the San Antonio Commanders. De’Vante led the league in interceptions, and pass breakups, before the season came to an abrupt end in week eight.

During 2020 and 2021, Bausby spent time with the Denver Broncos, Arizona Cardinals, New England Patriots, and the Las Vegas Raiders.
Now, he is back in the NFL, due to his solid performance in the USFL. Once again, the United States Football League is proving their value to the NFL. This is the 31st player to sign a contract with an NFL team, since their season ended in July.
