It was another uneven day for the Washington Commanders’ offense Friday on day nine of training camp.
While the offense did some good things in different portions of practice, the defense established its dominance during a goal-line sequence during Friday’s practice. Washington’s offense couldn’t run the ball or complete a pass during the series, capping off another frustrating session.
Third-year defensive end Casey Toohill was one of Washington’s standouts on the day, blowing up multiple plays as he looks to lock down the starting spot opposite Montez Sweat until Chase Young returns.
Here are some of the top highlights from day nine courtesy of those in attendance in Ashburn.
