Bears reach mandatory 85-man roster limit, waive 3 players, place Doug Kramer on IR

Alexander returns to the Bears after previously signing with the team in the spring as an undrafted rookie before being waived on Aug. 5. The safety played at four colleges, finishing at Charlotte where he had eight starts, two interceptions and two forced fumbles.
