Arkansas Football: Depth Chart vs. Cincinnati

Arkansas Football: Depth Chart vs. Cincinnati

Game week is officially here, which means that the initial depth chart of the 2022 season has officially gifted us its graces.

Looking over the depth chart, it appears that head coach sam pittman and the rest of his staff have agreed on who should start where, with there being two positions that are not officially set in stone… cornerback and punter.

Pittman said in his Monday press conference that each player listed as a cornerback on the depth chart will have a chance to prove themselves Saturday against Cincinnati.

“(Hudson) Clark, we feel like he’s played most consistent of that group. I think we’re still trying to find out exactly what we’re going to do,” Pittman said. “We obviously know they’re all going to play and things of that nature, but we’re still trying to figure out who is going to run out there with the 1s.”

As far as punters go, Pittman likes what he sees from both Reid Bauer and Max Fletcher. However, whoever gets the punt off quicker will more than likely be used more.

“I trust (Reid) Bauer. (Max) Fletcher can boom that sucker. Bauer, I trust him. He’s been good at that. He’s been good at getting the ball out of there,” Pittman said. “Cincinnati is going to try to block punts all game. Our past has shown we haven’t been very good early both years. We’ve got to get the ball out of there as well as protect it. I don’t know what we’re going to do, per se, right there yet.

How does the rest of the depth chart look? Here’s a peek at how the Razorbacks will line up Saturday at home against Cincinnati at Reynolds Razorback Stadium.
