Frogs O’War explains how TCU falls to Colorado

We’re now turning up the heat up on Frogs O’War editor Anthony North. The fun part of our behind enemy lines series has arrived with us asking North how the Colorado Buffaloes can beat TCU in their Week 1 matchup on Friday.

I asked North: CU wins the game if…

North’s response:

They win the line of scrimmage. TCU’s biggest vulnerability in 2021 was up front on both sides of the ball – the defense was 123rd in EPA per rush and 112th in sack rate; while on offense the QB was sacked 10.3% of passing downs, 104th in the country. If whomever is at QB for TCU is running for his life all night while the Frog D is unable to stop Alex Fontenot and the Colorado run game, it could be a disappointing start to the Sonny Dykes era.
