True freshmen who played vs. Utah State

Alabama head football coach Nick Saban has to be pleased with his team’s effort on Saturday night as the Crimson Tide completely obliterated Utah State 55-0.

One of the most important attributes of a blowout victory is the opportunity that some of the younger players receive to see the field.

Aside from playing several second-year players, Alabama also placed a handful of true freshmen on the field. A few even received some snaps with the first team and receiver Kobe Prentice earned the start in the slot.

Below is the complete list of true freshmen who participated in the Week 1 victory over Utah State.
