The Texas A&M Aggies look to begin the second half of the 2022 season on a positive note Saturday night against the South Carolina Gamecocks, and despite the fact that with a 3-3 record, many of the Aggies pre-season aspirations have fallen out of the realm of possibility, there is still plenty left to play for.
With such a young team, and a 2023 recruiting class that is still under construction, a great deal of the future of the program could ride on how the team shows up through the remainder of their 2022 schedule.
The way the team played against Alabama in Week 6 should give Aggie fans a great deal of hope, but they’ll need a lot more consistency from the Ags on the field.
Here is what you need to know headed into the matchup.
Here’s when you should tune in to see the game:
- Date: October 22nd

Texas A&M vs South Carolina Injury Report
The Aggies were without 9 starters against Alabama, but through the last two weeks there has been little mentioned, as to the status of players like Shemar Turner, Tunmise Adeleye, Trey Zuhn or any of the others who were out against the tide.
There were rumors early in the bye week that quarterback Haynes King had suffered an injury in the Week 6 game that was significant enough that it could cause him to miss the South Carolina game, but those rumors have gone unconfirmed.
