The Wisconsin Badgers started hot on their opening drive against the Purdue Boilermakers and capped it with a 29-yard touchdown pass to Skyler Bell.
The Badgers’ defense immediately returned the favor with an outstanding pick six by Wisconsin safety John Torchio.
On Purdue’s second play from scrimmage, Torchio jumped the slant from Boilermakers’ quarterback Aidan O’Connell to receiver Tyrone Tracy and took it to the end zone. This was Torchio’s fourth interception of the season, and he is tied with Illinois defensive back Kendall Smith for the most interceptions in the Big Ten.
It is great to see the Badgers’ defense make a statement early against one of the best passing offenses in the Big Ten.

It has been since 2003 that the Boilermakers have won against the Badgers…
Wisconsin could lose every game, but will always beat Purdue by 2 tds.
