Washington Commanders pay tribute to Breast Cancer Awareness Month


Throughout the month of October, the Washington Commanders recognized and supported breast cancer awareness, a cause that has always been near and dear to the franchise. Highlights of Breast Cancer Awareness Month included a panel featuring personal stories and expert insights at the National Museum of African American History, a THINK-PINK® game vs. the Titans, a mammogram van event at FedExField and the 14th annual All-Stars Survivors Celebration at Firefly Cellar Vineyards. Guided by the rallying cry and tagline “Command the Cure”, programming this month focused on the importance of early detection, health equity and honoring those affected by the devastating disease.
