Alabama took on FCS opponent Austin Peay at home in a Week 12 matchup that started out a bit worrisome for the Crimson Tide. In the end, Saban and the Tide walked away with a win in shutout fashion, defeating the Governors with a final score of 34-0.
Some key contributors were missing from today’s game. Most notable would be Alabama’s star running back Jahmyr Gibbs.
A few starters from this contest didn’t get to see a full four quarters of action, as younger players had an opportunity to see the field for real-time action.
