EUGENE, Ore. — Oregon is back in the top 10 of the College Football Playoff rankings after coming in at No. 9 in Tuesday’s reveal on ESPN.
The No. 9 Ducks (9-2, 7-1 Pac-12) will close the regular season this Saturday, Nov. 26, against No. 21 Oregon State in Corvallis (12:30 p.m. PT, ABC). With a win, Oregon will advance to play No. 6 USC in the Pac-12 Championship Game on Friday, Dec. 2, in Las Vegas.
Oregon is the second-highest ranked Pac-12 team behind USC, followed by No. 13 Washington, No. 14 Utah, No. 18 UCLA and No. 21 Oregon State.
This is Oregon’s third top-10 CFP ranking this season and 18th all-time, and its 30th appearance in the top 25. The Ducks were one of four schools to play in the inaugural College Football Playoff in 2014.
