The UNC football program is seeking its first ACC Championship in 42 seasons as they take on Clemson in Charlotte on Saturday night. The meeting is the only one between the two teams this season with a trip to the Orange Bowl on the line for both teams.
And after UNC’s defense forced a three-and-out for Clemson’s offense, it was the Tar Heels’ who struck first in this one.
Drake Maye capped off a 11-play, 78-yard scoring drive that took 5:13 off the clock and was ended by a rushing touchdown by the quarterback.
Watch as Maye finds the endzone to give UNC a 7-0 lead early:

There’s still a lot of game left in this one and the Tar Heels’ defense is going to have to be sharp against Clemson’s offense tonight. If they can do that, it will lead to more chances for Maye and the offense.
