Three Aggies named to All-SEC Coaches Team

2024 Quarterback DJ Lagway set to commit on Wednesday, December 7th

The Aggies are coming off one of their worst seasons in program history but ended the season on a high note after defeating the then-5th-ranked LSU Tigers 38-23, as what looked to be a lost and dreadful season at least provided a bit of momentum heading into 2023.

Amidst the constant transfer portal news, three Aggies were named to the All-SEC coaches team, as running back Devon Achane, who just announced his intention to enter the 2023 NFL Draft was named 1st Team running back/all-purpose, while defensive back Antonio Johnson was named 2nd Team Safety, and punter Nik Constantinou was named 2nd-Team Punter.

All three young men were some of the most consistent forces on offense, defense, and special teams during the 2022 season, as Achane had 1,298 scrimmage yards and 11 touchdowns, while Antonio Johnson was second on the team in tackles with 71, and Constantinou punted 62 times for 2,588 yards and only 1 touchback.

Congrats to all three on their honors!
