2024 Wide receiver Debron Gatling commits to Texas A&M

2024 Quarterback DJ Lagway set to commit on Wednesday, December 7th

Boom! Texas A&M has landed a commitment from one of the top offensive weapons in the 2024 recruiting class, as 4-Star wide receiver Debron Gatling out of Alpharetta, Georgia becomes the third player to commit to the Aggies for 2024.

As an all-around athlete currently ranked as one of the top 50 players in Georgia, Gatling’s speed and athleticism have improved over the years during his time in track and field, posting an 11:48 time in the 100-meter dash just last April. So far during his 2022 junior season at Milton High School, Gatling has recorded 69 receptions for 932 yards and 9 touchdowns, after recording 11 touchdowns during his sophomore season.

Gatling’s recruiting journey ramped up this summer, taking visits to Alabama, Tennesee, and College Station, Texas, visiting the Aggies three times since his first on July 30th (during the recruiting pool party), and making his last visit on Nov. 26th, the night Texas A&M defeated the then 5th ranked LSU Tigers 38-23 in their season finale.

After receiving a commitment from elite 2023 running back Reuben Owens II last Wednesday, head coach Jimbo Fisher has now struck gold twice in less than a week with the Debron Gatlings’ commitment.

Gig ’em, Debron, and congratulations!
