The Carolina Panthers just had themselves a very festive Christmas Eve. But their party may have come at an extremely unfortunate cost.
According to Will Kunkel of FOX Charlotte, the wrist injury sustained by cornerback Jaycee Horn in the fourth quarter of Saturday’s 37-24 win over the Detroit Lions is likely a break.
Panthers CB Jaycee Horn’s wrist injury is “not good,” per source. Likely broken.

Interim head coach Steve Wilks didn’t have much of answer on Horn’s status following the victory. He told reporters that the team will send the second-year defender for an MRI.
Horn came out with about 13 minutes remaining in the contest. After tackling Lions wide receiver Josh Reynolds on a 26-yard gain, the 23-year-old clutched his wrist and was eventually carted away to the locker room.
This would, obviously, be a disappointing development for both Horn and the Panthers. Horn missed the final 14 games of his rookie campaign in 2021 after breaking his foot against the Houston Texans in the third game of his career.
