Texas A&M has the 5th most ranked wins in the last 20 SEC seasons

Layden Robinson wants to run it back

Since the arrival of Nick Saban at Alabama in 2007, the entire Southeastern Conference has had to collectively increase their level of recruiting, coaching, and play on the field due to the Tide’s utter dominance in the last decade plus.

The Aggies, who entered the conference in 2012 (a magical season for the program) have been widely maligned for their average play on the field minus a couple of notable seasons, yet a stat revealed by Saturday Down South on Friday disputed that fact from a historical lense. It was noted that in the last 20 SEC seasons, Texas A&M has notched the 5th most ranked victories in the last 20 seasons with 26, with an average of 2.6 per season since 2012.

As seen in the Tweet, Alabama, LSU, and Georgia ranked 1,2, and 3 have each won a combined 10 National Championships in the last 20 seasons, so the Aggies are in pretty good company after only being in the SEC for 10 seasons.
