The transfer portal is continuing to give back to Arkansas football in a big way after the Hogs landed another commitment on Tuesday night. This time it was from one of the most talented and sought-after receivers in the portal.
Isaac TeSlaa, a 6-4, 210-pound receiver from Hillsdale College (Division 2) chose Arkansas over the likes of Iowa, Iowa State, Ole Miss, Texas A&M, Colorado, Oklahoma State, Baylor and many others.
Don’t let the “Division 2” in his former college fool you, TeSlaa is a high-level player that is more than capable of being a major contributor in the SEC. He had a remarkable 2022 season, recording 68 catches for 1,325 yards and 13 touchdowns, and will have two seasons of eligibility remaining.
TeSlaa is the third wide receiver to commit to the Razorbacks via the transfer portal. Arkansas added Andrew Armstrong, another highly coveted receiver, earlier in the cycle from Texas A&M-Commerce. Last week former Cabot high school and Memphis wide receiver, Marlon Crockett, committed to the Hogs as a preferred walk-on.
The Arkansas wide receiver room is going to be filled with talented players in 2023 and the Hogs aren’t officially done in the portal yet. Keep your eyes peeled for more good transfer portal news for the Razorbacks soon.
