For a program that was having trouble nailing down any, and I mean any quarterback prospect for the 2023 class before landing the 2023 4-Star duel threat Marcel Reed, Interest has skyrocketed as of late for the Aggies after the 2024 4-Star Davi Belfort officially dropped his Top 3 schools, which happened to include Texas A&M.
Virginia Tech and Michigan State finish out Belfort’s list, as the prospect will finish out his illustrious high school career at Gulliver Prep in Miami, Florida, where the talented signal-caller passed for 2,016 yards, 22 touchdowns, and 6 rushing touchdowns during the 2021 season while at Cardinal Newman in West Palm Beach, Florida before transferring a year later.

Originally a member of the 2025 cycle, Belfort reclassified to the 2024 class while spending a short time at Dillard in Fort Lauderdale Florida in 2022. Standing at 5’10”, 185 lbs with tons of room to grow, Belfort fits the mold of what Head coach Jimbo Fisher wants in every quarterback he recruits. According to 247Sports, Belfort is the 39th-ranked quarterback and 77th-ranked player in Florida.
A couple of cool details about Belforts’ background? His Father, Vitor Belfort, is a professional MMA fighter, is a native of Brazil, and moved to the United States at age five.
