There was no doubt that once Walter Nolan signed with Texas A&M he would contribute early and often. While his lone sack didn’t come until the final game of the season and with injuries bouncing him in and out of the lineup, he still showed tons of promise.
PPF Grade 2022 Grade: 68.1 on 289 snaps
View PFFs’ assessment below.
“The No. 1 overall recruit showed encouraging signs as a pass rusher, posting a 13% pressure rate that ranked sixth among Power Five interior defensive linemen with at least 120 pass-
rushing snaps. That mark also led the SEC, which is even more impressive considering who finished in second. That would be Georgia’s Jalen Carter, PFF’s No. 2 prospect in the 2023 NFL Draft.”
After a year in the weight room, I’m expecting a jump in production and for teams to spend time game-planning how to keep him out of the backfield.
